Where do I catch the Shopper Hopper from? The Shopper Hopper has three wharf locations;
Jetty No. 1, Eastern Pontoon – located in front of French Connection at Circular Quay on the way to the Sydney Opera House.
Western Foreshore, Darling Harbour
Located outside of Blue Fish Restaurant at Harbourside Shopping Centre near the Pyrmont Bridge.
Birkenhead Point Marina

How much does it cost? Tickets are $14 per person, one way or buy a return ticket for $23. Children aged 0 – 4 ride free of charge.

How can I purchase tickets? We recommend you book online so we know to expect you at the Wharf. We accept cash, EFTPOS and all credit cards including AMEX, UnionPay. You can also purchase tickets on board.
Can I use an Opal Card on the Shopper Hopper?
The Shopper Hopper is a private ferry service on Sydney Harbour so is unable to accept Opal Cards.
How do I purchase the Darling Harbour dining add-ons? Simply go ahead and book your Shopper Hopper tickets online and the two options will appear during the checkout process to select and add to your total ticket price.
Where is Blue Fish Restaurant? Blue Fish is located directly in front of the Shopper Hopper Darling Harbour wharf location at Harbourside Shopping Centre. It is a 2 minute walk from the Darling Harbour wharf.
What do I need to show to redeem my dining add-on at Blue Fish? Simply show your Shopper Hopper e-ticket with booking number to the friendly Blue Fish wait staff to redeem at any time for lunch, a snack or dinner. This e-ticket can be printed or on your mobile. The waitstaff will need to record your booking number.
What happens if the service is full when I want to catch it? The Shopper Hopper has a limit of 28 passengers. The service currently operates on a first come, first serve basis. We recommend passengers book online to secure their spot. In the event of high demand for the service, operator Fantasea Cruises may request an additional vessel. It may take 15-20 mins for an additional vessel to arrive and you should request an update from the crew.
What happens if I miss my booked schedule Shopper Hopper departure time? We recommend you arrive at the Wharf 5-10 minutes ahead of schedule to avoid missing the Shopper Hoppers arrival. The Shopper Hopper is on a tight schedule and will only stop briefly at the scheduled wharf for less than 5 minutes to pick up guests. Feel free to give the skipper a wave to ensure they acknowledge you are wanting to board. If you miss your scheduled booked time, you are welcome to join any other departures that day however we are unable to refund your tickets due to late arrival.
Where can I view the timetable? You can view the timetable online. Alternatively, the timetable is on display at each wharf location or you can ask the friendly Information Desk staff at Birkenhead Point Brand Outlet or Harbourside Shopping Centre.
Are the seats undercover? There are 18 seats inside the vessel and 6 upstairs.

How long does the journey take via the Shopper Hopper? Approximately 20 minutes.
Are there amenities on board? Yes, there is a unisex toilet on board.
Will the service be running in the event of wet / poor weather conditions? The Shopper Hopper is an all-weather service and can operate in wet and poor weather conditions under the safe guidance of the vessel master. The master will make a decision should poor weather deteriorate and will only operate under safe conditions.

I have a UnionPay Card. How do I get my free ticket?
Welcome on board! Simply book online using the UnionPay ticket option to activate your free one-way ticket or alternatively meet the Shopper Hopper at the Circular Quay or Darling Harbour wharf locations and show the crew on board your UnionPay card. This will get you one (1) free ticket to Birkenhead Point departing from Circular Quay or Darling Harbour only.
I have a UnionPay Card but want to bring my family as well. Can they get free tickets too? We'd love to have you all on board but unfortunately the promotion is only valid for one (1) free ticket per UnionPay card. The other family members will need to purchase tickets on board or online.
I have a UnionPay Card and got my free ticket - can I show it again to get a free return ticket home? This free ticket promotion is only valid from the Circular Quay and Darling Harbour wharf locations to Birkenhead Point. Your return ticket can be be purchased on board or online if you'd like to return via the Shopper Hopper. The good news is that if you have spent over $300 at Birkenhead Point you can receive a free Australian designer leather gift.
Can I use this service if I am mobility impaired? The Shopper Hopper does not have the necessary specifications to accommodate mobility impaired persons. We would recommend other forms of local transport services that cater for mobility impaired persons such as; accessible buses and taxis to Birkenhead Point Brand Outlet.
Can I bring a pram on board? We welcome families with prams however as the vessel does not have the necessary specifications for access, assistance from the crew will be required. Please notify the friendly crew on board for help with this. For pram access on arrival at Birkenhead Point, simply follow the promenade along to the Aldi access to enter the Centre.
